The haters are really not going to like this month. With fiance's business finally making some serious money, we almost tripled our net worth this month to a hair short of 30K! WOW. It's ten times what it was when I started. That's with some serious wedding expenses this month and some underwhelming market results.
* Car #1 is now down to only $3,300. End is nigh for that rip-off, 8% loan--August looks good!
* Investments reached 50K--that feels like a real accomplishment.
* Cash is above the 5K deductible for fiance's high-deductible medical insurance. That makes me feel better. In an emergency, we could also cash out the business retained earnings.
I don't think we can keep up this mind-boggling pace. Self-employment is unpredictable, and this was just a good month. But I hope we can keep moving in the right direction with snowballs, if not avalanches like this month.
This kind of successful month makes me feel, no believe, that we are going to make it, that being debt-free is possible, and that we really can have some savings and financial security. I can't say the numbers have ever brought me that kind of warm fuzzy before. I'm so proud of fiance, and I am so glad we are sticking with it.

The pessimist in me says not to count on every month in business being this good.
But it's nice that when you had the money, you put it into all the right places.
