Good Choices

Last night, I got home at 11. I work mind-blowing hours (and I love my job), but 11 is even late for me. When I staggered in the door, the house was clean because the maid had come. The stove was scrubbed, the toilets were clean, the paper towel roll was replenished, the garbage was outside. I don't think I had ever been so happy about the maid before. Well, happy is not the right word walking in from a day that long. It's RELIEVED.

I also worked out that morning at 7:30, half an hour with the trainer, half an hour cardio. I've lost 7 pounds so far! I haven't had much time for the trainer, but I've really tried to go once a week for $20. Of all the stupid things I spend money on, the trainer and the maid are the best. The trainer forces me to take care of myself--not allowed to let that one slide. The maid just lifts so much stress of my back. Whew. Days like this make me glad I didn't try to go it all alone.

I hear ya! One of the first things I want back when I get my finances straightened around is my once-weekly housecleaner!

With the hours you work the maid is a necessity, not a luxury!

I'm aiming to get one myself once I'm debt free.
