Comment Policy

Now that I have to moderate my comments, I'm posting a simple policy.

I won't publish things I view as spam, too much vulgarity, personal attacks on anyone but me, and nastier attacks on me.

I'll publish pretty much anything from a blogger I know. Anonymous gets less deference.

I can take quite a bit of heat, or this blog would have folded a long time ago. But I am still surprised at the gall of anonymous, who believes she knows me so well she can sling personal insults.

FYI.. you are probably getting nastier comments than I ever did (?) but a lot of Anonymous commenters are really bloggers who are too chicken to really come out and post what they want to say. :)

Then they leave BS comments like "I don't want to read your blog any more, you are mean and nasty and not plain like all of the other oatmeal PF bloggers I subscribe to *waaaaaaaaaaaah*"

(bolded waaaah was my addition)

:) Happy moderating!

I've received quite a few mean comments...some I find amusing, but others I just think are unnecessary. Last week I was called a slut...not really productive...so I deleted it.

What I love most about your blog is the petty ire it raises amongst the comments that says way more about them than it does about you. I mean, the passport comments were priceless; so few were people were OK with their travel experience.

Yeah, you can be a little snarky, but even so, I mostly agree with you.

Rock on!
