I really love my local fancy pants 24 Hour Fitness. The beauty of a membership in such a big club is you can go to any of them!
I went to a 24 Hour Fitness kickboxing class across town with a friend of mine. She has the cheap Costco membership, but I used my membership to go to class with her.
When I started traveling, I could go to any 24 Hour Fitness. Right now, there's a 24 Hour Fitness downstairs, so I ran a little and kept myself on track. Hooray for 24 Hour Fitness!
Right now I'm glad I didn't join the fancy, snooty boutique gym. They sure don't have one of those in Chicago. My fancy 24 Hour Fitness is a joy, and my membership has had some much-needed flexibility. It's nice when something just works for a change.

I'm jealous! Not that you are at 24 hour fitness but that you are in Chicago. I love Chicago in the Summertime. One of my best friends from High School lives there (well, she just moved north to the burbs) and has a boat in one of the marinas. Oh, its so much fun to visit!
I love 24 hr fitness because if you have a sudden burst of energy at 3am, you can go work out!
