Our cars got broken into this weekend. Again. It's about every other month now.
Every day, I think about moving. Every day, there is some crappy thing in this house that pisses me off. The lights quit working. The closet is terrible. The burners aren't level. The cars get broken into. One of the toilets is always broken. The water heater is picky. The fridge drawers don't close well. No storage for our stuff. Whew.
So sick of this place.
If we can't buy, we'll just have to rent something nicer.

Sorry about the car...that really sucks.
Now that you have a W2 and the Senor Dog's business has been incorporated for 2 years you should be able to get a mortgage much easier. Finding a house you like that is also satisfactory to you may be the problem. You will have to compromise on some things or you will never find a house. Keep at it and something is bound to come up. Good Luck!
Ugh, so sorry to hear about the car again!
Ugh! I cannot believe how often your cars bet broke into over there. I would want to move too. Here's hoping you find a house soon!
You get what you pay for, and when you go and rent the cheapest place you can find you end out in the crappiest neighborhood and have your car broken into frequently...so, is it worth all the money you're saving? Maybe you should take the experience to heart in looking to buy the cheapest house you can find? Ya think? Nah, you're a 20-something who knows everything about everything and everyone - nobody could teach you anything because you know it all.
Dumb bitch.
Why are you being targeted?
That is total BS.
I'm so sorry you have to deal with that.... I hope you didn't lose anything or have any damages you have to pay for :(
Oh wow, I'm sorry that keeps happening. Maybe while you're figuring out your move you should pay for a private garage?
Wow, again? So sorry to hear that. I think it is time for you guys to move on. Even if you dont buy a property right, you should consider renting somewhere else.
Sorry about the cars- my Dad lives in a nice neighborhood that gets targeted a lot, and the cops told him his best option was to take anything valuable out at night and leave the car unlocked so at least they won't break his windows.
