2009 is quickly wrapping up, and that means a whole lot of accounting. Ugh. That means I have to get all the business's stuff together, and boy is it a lot of work.
It also means that I can finally figure out what Señor Dog made this year! He works on projects: some take a day, some take a month or two. When he's done, he invoices and eventually he gets paid. That means there are months when no checks come in, and there are months that our expenses have to come from the business savings.
It also means I have no idea when money is coming, so it's always a pleasant surprise.
So, this is his take-home, after taxes (sales, franchise, income, self-employment, and unemployment), equipment, supplies and all expenses paid:
Jan: 8,000
Feb: 0
March: 3,000
April: 0
May: 15,000
June: 7,000
July: 8,000
Aug: 13,800
Sep: 0
Oct: 4,500
Nov: 13,000
Dec: 14,500
Total: 86,800
Average: 7,200/month
Plus, $8,500 in the SEP IRA.
Go Señor Dog, go! This is way better than I thought! In traditional salaries, that would be way over 100K! Probably like 140-ish! Go Señor Dog!
